How this website handles your information
This page explains, in plain language, what this website collects and how it is used. Karen Vitale is a recovery coach, not a medical or licensed healthcare provider, so this is not medical confidentiality or a HIPAA-covered service. It is a straightforward account of how this site handles your information.
What the consultation form collects
When you send a consultation request, the form asks for what is needed to respond to you.
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give one
- Your message
- How you heard about Karen, if you choose to say
Nothing else is required, and the site does not ask for sensitive details about your health or history through the form.
How your information is used
What you submit is used only so that Karen can read your message and respond to you. It is stored so she can follow up, and it is never sold and never shared with third parties for their own use.
Your inquiry goes directly to Karen rather than to an intake team or a shared organizational system.
Analytics and cookies
This site uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in anonymous, aggregate terms, such as which pages are visited. It is not used to identify you personally.
Analytics relies on cookies, small files your browser stores, to measure that usage. The site does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How long inquiries are kept, and deletion
Consultation messages are kept only as long as they are useful for responding and following up, and no longer than necessary. You can ask Karen to delete your inquiry at any time, and she will.
Questions about privacy
If you have any question about your information or want it removed, email Karen directly at Karen@SoberLife-Coach.com.
