Biography
n 1994, Karen made the life-changing decision to get sober. Through the guidance of dedicated counselors, the development of self-care routines, and a regular meditation practice, she transformed her life from the inside out. After 25 years in recovery, she formalized her calling by becoming a Certified Recovery Coach and expanding her training in crisis and suicide prevention.
Karen also provides clinical support to in-patients and out-patients at Montefiore Hospital in New York, furthering her impact in the healthcare system.
Her approach is personal, powerful, and private—designed to support individuals and families ready to begin a new chapter.
At 22 years old, Karen was breaking barriers and was considered a trailblazer in the media business. Karen was one of the first female broadcast videographers in NYC.
With a distinguished background in film, television, and sports media, Karen Vitale understands the unique pressures of high-profile, high-demand careers. As a former award-winning television producer and one of NYC’s first female broadcast videographers, she brings deep insight, discretion, and trust to her work. Today, Karen offers compassionate, one-on-one support to professionals seeking balance between their public lives and private recovery—delivering guidance with empathy, confidentiality, and credibility.
